He's all over the map. With such a passion for serving all, defending the weak and innocent and a strong devotion to America, there is no one better fit to be President than Sam Brownback. No other candidate has spoken so strongly in giving everyone a fair chance at life, especially the preborn, be they in the womb or more tragically, in a petri dish. I don't know about you, but my family is hurting these days. My parents made many mistakes and now live separately, hating each other. This tragedy has shaken me and my sister's to the core.

Sam Brownback gives the millions like me and my sisters hope that if he became president, no other children will have to suffer the destruction of the love that sustains families. He would promote marriage, ensuring fewer children end up in single parent families. No other candidates are concerned about this. He will protect marriage from those who want to warp it into something other than that joyous union of one man and one woman for life for the procreation of children. He will protect marriage from disorder and the lies of homosexualization. Brownback's winning message is simple. America needs strong families to be successful. Without strong families that are accepting of the gift of life, society is not as effective, life is disordered and the nation suffers. Families are the backbone of any society.

The measure of a society is how well it treats it's weakest members. Democrat America would like to kill millions of them with abortion. Sam Brownback is the best candidate at changing that.

Brownback will win on all issues. He will support the military. He will settle for nothing less than victory in Iraq. He is wise enough not get America into another situation like Iraq because he knows how much voters are displeased with it. Democrats like Hillary, Obama, Edwards are unreliable when it comes to winning in Iraq. But if Republicans do not start looking realisiticly at how bad the Iraq war was for their own country, they will lose in 2008 with the American public. Sam Brownback supports a political solution ultimately in Iraq, which is what the American people want. Brownback is in tune with the people on Iraq.

Brownback is respected by immigrants because he reaches out to them. He knows that a fence alone isn't going to cut it with the issue of illegal immigrants. He's got every other Republican matched or beat with immigration.

When it comes to the other candidates like Hillary Clinton, Barak Obama, John Edwards, Joe Biden and Rudy Guilianni are deadly on the issues of abortion. These candidates are not looking out for America's future but an ideological agenda where people are given the right to kill the innocent. Even John McCain supports murdering some emryonic children, saying that some should die for the sake of science. Who is he to say some people should sacrifice their lives for the sake of science, just because they are so young and weak.

Mitt Romney says he regrets breaking the law to institute sodomarriage in Massachusetts. Is that so? Then why isn't he out crusading to fix his mistake? Romney, throughout his campaign, has not given any evidence he cares about the country's divorce problem. His defense of marriage is at best questionable.

Sam Brownback is one of the few candidates we can trust, the highest ranking candidate we can trust. Friends, please support Sam Brownback. He is a man whom people will talk about years from now saying "will this President be as good as Brownback?" Follow the yellow brick road. Please support Brownback, and make America a better country.

Pax Vobiscum,

Allan O'Canada

Saint Sam for President in '08

Dear friends,

Already many of the candidates who will be seeking the presidential bids of their repsective parties have announced their intent to do so. It's been said the nomination field is getting crowded with at least 10 Rebulican nominees and much the same for Democrats. The President of the United States of America is supposed to exemplify what it means to be American, to show us a right as rain example of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. This is a crucial time in American history, and America needs a great leader to stay the course. Many of the candidates can offer great things to the land of the brave, but as we are seeing with most of the candidates, they also have many things that will outright hurt the nation.

Canadidates like Hillary Clinton, Barak Obama, Rudy Guliani and John McCain have shown us time and time again with their rhetoric and voting records that they will not support the right to life of people in their earliest stages of life, despite science telling us that human life begins at conception. Do we want a President who doesn't respect life or doesn't listen to science?

Mitt Romney and Guliani have made it clear to us that they do not value marriage, that the union between a man and a women for life should be denegraded and seen as equal to disordered unions between two men, or two women.

The only support we've seen Clinton and Obama give the military is the kind that says they'd be doing a better job if they would pack up and go home because they can't handle finishing the job.

Thankfully, for America's sake, there are some great candidates running. Names such as Hunter, Huckabee, and Sam Brownback resonate above the others. These are the men who stand for the values the United States of America was founded on.

Sam Brownback is of particular interest. No other candidate has been so active in defending life, marriage, the disabled, the poor at home and abroad, supporting the military, helping the middle class by lowering their taxes, getting constitutionalist judges on the Supreme Court (e.g. Roberts and Alito) and supporting alternative fuels. I am convinced there would be no one better to lead the United States of America as President.

Some Evangelicals may have some reservations about Brownback because he is a Catholic. I would encourage them to pray and think about who the best candidate is for their country in the long run. Who has the best Pro-life voting record? As a Catholic myself, I would have no problem voting for an evangelical oriented candidate like President Bush or Reagan. And out of Christian charity, I would hope evangelicals would return that good favour and elect Catholic politician. We live in an age where in order to build up the kingdom of God on earth, and build a culture of life, all Christians must work together. Besides, Brownback hails from an Evangelical home, and can relate to all of America's Evangelicals. Because Catholics and Evangelicals share in all the most relevant political goals, Brownback would equally benefit both camps if elected.

Please support Sam Brownback!

Pax Vobiscum,

Allan

Abortion Pizza?

Greetings all! I just learned from the Life Decisions International website that Pizza Pizza resturants, one of my favourite pizza chains supports Planned Parenthood financially. Planned Parenthood makes profit by exploiting, deceiving and harming women and aborting their children. A couple years ago Pizza Pizza was caught funding the pride parade in Toronto and I wrote them. The next year Pizza Pizza did not appear as a patron of pride Toronto on their website, so I started eating there again. Now I firmly endorse the Life Decisions International boycott for Pizza Pizza, and will not be patroning them until they stop funding Planned Parenthood. Below is a copy of the letter I wrote them.

Saturday, January 13, 2007.

Life Decisions International recently published that Pizza Pizza supports
the abortion conglomerate Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood profits by destroying pre-born babies by abortion on pre-teens to adult women. Planned Parenthood supports beastiality. Planned Parenthood protects rapists by not informing police when they abort underage girl's children. I really like your pizza, but I am disgusted with Pizza Pizza for funding Planned Parenthood. It makes me wonder what's next? If Pizza Pizza is willing to fund abortion they could illegally add aborted fetal tissue to their pizzas. My critics will point out it's a disgusting thought, but all the more disgusting is Pizza Pizza supporting the abortion industry. I have boycotted Pizza Pizza before when I heard they funded the pride parade in Toronto, and I will begin another boycott immediately until I see Pizza Pizza has stopped funding Planned Parenthood.

Thank you for your time, and I sincerely look forward to Pizza Pizza ending their support of such violence against children and women

Pax vobsicum,

Allan O'Canada

Cardinal Arinze Podcast and the Beauty of Life

Recently the good couple over at Catholic Familyland Europe asked the blogging Catholic faithful to put the Cardinal Arinze picture up on our blogs, along with a link. I personally love the podcast. The Cardinal speaks so clearly and so brilliantly on matters of faith, morals and the family. He's one of the strongest leaders in the world today (take that Canadian and American governments! especially Liberals and Democrats!). In fact, I'd say he's only bested by the Vicar of Christ himself.

Check out the Cardinal Arinze podcast sometime, he's one of the wisest, most orthodox, most spiritual, fair governing, sanctifying and best teachers on this earth currently. Not only is he a leader in Christ's flock, whom Christ has sent out (He knew the Good Cardinal would be a successor of the apostles) but he is also one of the greatest followers of Christ in the Church militant. For those of you don't know, the Church militant is the name given to the Church on earth.

The Beauty of Life

The gift of human life is one of the most dignifying gifts that can be given or received. I write for a secular audience as well as a spiritual audience. It is most often that secular people cannot grasp the spiritual, but spiritual people have lived a secular life, seen its setbacks and moved on to a superior spiritual life full of richness and grace in Christ. The gift of life is the first step to the gift of everlasting life.

Given how beautiful the gift of life is in itself, it's difficult for me to see how people can say "it's better for that child to be killed than to live a life of incompetance and drooling." Sad, bitter people say things like that. Selfish people who care about their own money, and pleasures of the body. They will say, well I wouldn't want to take care of someone like that, so why should anyone else? But where is the love of the life? How come their minds are so limited that they can't see that gift of life? It is these people who are the self-proclaimed "progressives." There are many of these types in the U.K. and Netherlands.

In 2000, the Netherlands implemented an infant euthanasia program where a panel of doctors will decide weather to commit infanticide on a baby if he has permanent disability or chronic or terminal illness. They brush aside the fact that life should be lived to the fullest and make themselves out to be gods, deciding the fate of mere motrals. The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynocologists in the U.K. is now pusing for debate on infanticide now, only six years after the Dutch legalized it.

It was only 400 years ago when the Spanish conquered the pagans in South America, where they used to commit infanticide regularly to make human sacrifices to false-gods. Please see Mel Gibson's new movie Apocolypto. It seems like the "progressives" are actually regressive in their thinking. They want to bring us back to the level of bloodshed of pagan times. In fact, if you've ever seen those pictures of aborted babies, you could conclude that we are already there, given the number of times that happens in North America, let alone the world, every year. This is all thanks of course to liberal ideology, who's cornerstone is secular humanism.

The secular humanist thinks only of the immediate gains of decisions, how will they help the "chosen" or "wanted" people on earth here and now, only thinking of long term solutions and consequenes for a few select issues, namely environmental concerns.

So before we turn our nations back into the pagan butcherfests they used to be, I urge all the liberals to actually consider real human rights such as the right to life, instead of pseudo rights, such as the right to kill vulnerable children in the womb or out, the "right to marry," marriage is a blessing and a calling, not a right, or the right to call up terrorists and not have the government listen in.

Remember, in all situations the child may be happy but the true beauty and happiness lies in the life. The child may be suffering, but the true beauty and happiness in that life, that gift, that won't change. There is always the possibility of things getting worse, but isn't the possibility of things getting better more important? Isn't letting the child live to have a chance at eternal life the best option?

Eternal life is an amazing concept, and I'll talk about more about it in another entry! Father please grant my Char eternal life, so that I may spend it with her, as well as grant all my family and friends all they need to recieve the same gift.

Pax vobiscum,

Allan O'Canada

All Saints Day

A Blessed All Saints Day!
This is always one of my favourite Holy Days. I had no idea about this day until about 4 years ago. How amazing it was for me to learn that the title given to everyone in heaven was Saint. I never knew the meaning of the word. Our Secular/liberal Protestant culture usually attributes the name saint to a good person. However, Saints are great persons. How great and difficult a time it is to pass this test on earth to spend eternity away from all labours enjoying the ecstacy and splendors of heaven!

I went to Holy Family Church in Toronto for the All Saints Day Mass. It was truly amazing! The Mass was a Latin Novus Ordo, so it had the correct (more accurate) words of consecration for the Holy Blood. The choir and organ were beautiful, as were the hymns. Nine priests offered the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and many seminarians and a few Dominicans were present. There was much incense and it smelled so beautiful. God finds the smell of incense pleasing too, especially with the Sacrifice of His dearly beloved Son. I hope my dear one likes the smell of incense;-)

Cord Stem Cells Differentiate to form a Liver

I also got word of an amazing discovery made by British scientists today that the secular media is completely ignoring. Good scientists (who respect life by virtue of their research) have taken cord stem cells and grown a mini human liver from them. This is the second organ (the first was the bladder) I have heard news that either adult stem cells (host stem cells as I like to call them) or cord stem cells. Cord stem cells derive their name because they come from umbilical cords.

What a remarkable discovery! The liver is such a fascinating organ. The organ of purification, where toxins and other product is metabolized and flushed from our bloodsteams. Many people will benefit from this research, such as people suffering from liver cerosis, people with hepatitus A, B or C who acquired it by accident, as well as by sinning, people who have been in terrible accidents, alcoholics, people on liver damaging medications to name a few. Many medications damage livers such as Crohn's disease meds as well as anti-retrovirals for people suffering from HIV.

A discovery like this could end organ donation, where contraversy reigns supreme because some doctors in the US and China will kill people to get at their organs for other people, even if there is a good chance for the donor's recovery. Also with cord cells, if they are from the hosts' cord, there will be no need for immuno-suppressing anti-rejection drugs.
We can only thank Our Loving Father and His Divine Son for such a discovery. Jesus and Mary are the health of the sick. "Every good gift is from above," says St. James the Less. And it rings true even now.

With all this good news, and all the actual cures "not just promise" that this discovery brings, it is interesting why the secular media has not made front page news of this. It is a sad state how our mainstream media has become a Liberal ideology dumping ground that they have failed the common good. They do not give proper place to miraculous medical discoveries because the source of the discoveries is advocated by Pro-Life sources. This discovery is not derrived from the failed and hopeless science of embryonic stem cell research. If it was, guaranteed it would be all over the secular press. It was a great hour of bearing witness to the crime and sin of abortion in my country from an inner city intersection in Etobicoke. I held a sign that read: "Lord Forgive Us And Our Nation." If God does not forgive us, then it is just for Him to punish us with whatever means He sees fit. I met some good people-four members of a family of 11! We had a lot of support from most drivers-by. The event lasted from 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. The sun had just come out, and God was holding off the rain for us.

Then came along the anti-life, pro-abortion fanatics. They came in the classiest of vehicles, a bronze coloured pick-up truck. There were three in the vehicle, two women and a man driving. The man was perhaps in his late twenties and the women were in their early or mid-twenties. Boy did they have mouths, which is not surprising from anti-lifers. I saw the woman in the back roll down her window. She was talking on her cell phone while she shouted to me with a harpy's voice: "Who are you to tell me not to have an abortion?"

I kept my silence. She rolled up her window.

The woman in the front shouted with a confused voice: "Why are you here for? Is there a clinic around here?" Again, as I had been instructed, I kept my silence and did not engage with the provoking women.

The woman with the nails-on-the-blackboard-voice yelled at me again "Why don't you answer? You can't even answer! You're wrong!" expecting me to get into a serious argument with her in the middle of the intersection. I stayed calm and silent. She rolled up the window again. I know she wasn't really looking for reasonable discussion. She rolled up the window to any reponse for Goodness' sake!

I could feel my muscles tense and the adrenalin pump. I really wanted to yell back to her, "May Our Father forgive you, for you do not know it is wrong the murder your innocent children!" But I knew the best thing I could do is be silent, and let my prescence and the sign say it all. I did not to humour her, nor stoop to her level, and join in on her madness.

The mouth in the back continued to hurl insults at me and God. I felt like Jesus when the San Hedrin and pagan Roman soldiers wanted Our Lord dead. I took their insults in like the Lord and like the Lord said, I prayed for them to see the light and truth. I offered it up and prayed hail Marys for them. They must have saw my lips move, because the woman in the front gave me this saucy look and yet again, the back window rolled down.

"God doesn't exist," she taunted. "God won't save you," she continued. Sounding very much like the wicked theif on the cross, who insulted Our Lord was not offered salvation. I was really angry she would insult my Blessed Lord like that. But I knew I must imitate Christ, so I offered it up and prayed more Hail Marys for her.

For the Love of God I could not figure out what she hoped to accomlish screaming like a crazed woman in the middle of an intersection like that. It just proves how confused, ill-reasoned and driven by emotion these pro-abortionists are. Such madness belongs in a safe, therapeutic home with padded walls.

Such witches. But I thank God. "Blessed are they that suffer persecution for justice' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

"Blessed are you when they shall revile you and persecute you and speak all that is evil against you, untruly, for my sake."

I know in their hearts they thought much evil on me, and much anger. These are the fruits of the pro-abortion movement. How can anyone follow such an evil way? The choice is clear, good must prevail over evil.

Pax vobiscum and all the preborn and their mothers,

Allan O'Canada

Even the Pope himself wants this Emoticon

So I was on MSN as usual staring at my emoticons and the Holy Ghost hits me with this brilliant idea. Wow. How does she come up with this prophetic insight? Obviously she's not looking at the facts. Looking at the facts would reveal how flawed her argument is. Ever since we legalized contraceptive devices and abortifacient pills, the number of "unplanned pregnancies" has sky-rocketed. And the more we make these sex-destructive means available to combat abortions and "unwanted pregnancies," the more abortions and unwanted pregnancies we get. I feel that the Democrats and all Canadian political parties, save the Christian Heritage Party are leading us down the path of ignorance to a pagan and diminishing society.

Here are the facts:

Scotland made the morning-after pill nonprescription in 1999 and in 2005 reported its highest number of abortions since abortion was decriminalized in 1967.

In England, abortions increased from 176,000 in 2002 to 185,400 in 2004. In four years, chlamydia went up 76 percent. Gonorrhea went up 55 percent. Syphilis went up 54 percent. Genital warts went up 20 percent.

Check out Lifenews for more details: http://www.lifenews.com/nat2477.html

Following the Democrats, the Liberal Party of Canada, the New Democrat Party of Canada and the Green Party of Canada is turning our fine and once proud nations into cesspools of sexually transmitted diseases. Now it seems one commenter, dave, completely missed most of my points. Although I acknowledge I could expand and better explain my arguments in an entire treatise, I do not think it worthwhile. I'm a reasonable man, so I wish to reasonably address the comment, and explain the many ways it fails to recognize the truth of the situation. I confess in all fairness that there are many good little 'p' protestants and even good big 'P' Protestants. I define Big 'P' Protestants as people who were Christian but have knowingly and obstinately rejected certain certain teachings and adopted Protestant ones. Little 'p' protestants are Christians who are born into a Protestant upbringing and so are not sufficiently exposed to full Christian teachings.

My comment about Protestants supporting population control was not fair when we think about evangelical Protestants so thank you for pointing that out dave. However liberal Protestants are not exempt because they do support these sinful policies.

My commenter seems to be confused about what is a Protestant. He asks which particular Protestant denominations am I referring to when I use the word Protestant and lists a number of denominations. Well by definition they would all be Protestant denominations and since I didn't specify any in particular it's obvious that I'm referring to all of them.

Protestants don't really have a set definition of what makes a Protestant, so we must go to an outside source to get a clear definition. I turn to the Catholic Church as an expert on this matter. By the Catholic Encylopedia: http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/12495a.htm
A Protestant is someone who ascribes to at least one of the following beliefs:

Sola Scriptura

Sola Fide (or Justification by Faith Alone)

Universal Priesthood of Believers but no priests

Often associated with the movement is denial of Transubstantiation

Just as we use the word Catholic to conveniently refer to Roman Catholic, Ukrainian Catholic, Maronite Catholic Churches, etc. we use the word Protestant to refer to all Protestant denominations. Now that is truly helpful and simple. I'd rather use one word than list them all out!

Now I am deeply concerned for the existing communion Protestant churches share with Christ because what limited amout these dear people have is threatened by recent events. Some people may down play the whole rift in communion the Anglican communion is going through. However I see a sign of serious problems for the movement when it's largest communion is torn apart. I think to dismiss it is naive.

Again I say, the Protestant movement is destroying itself from the inside out. But what about American evangelicals? True they have ferver and it is still growing, but their core denomination, the Southern Baptists just broke communion with their liberal counterparts the Northern Baptist Convention.

Now since when is the truth unhelpful? The commentor's argument becomes incongruent when we look at the byproducts of American Protestantism. He brings up an important point, Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses are not Christian and are condemned by Protestants, illustrating a cycle of degradation from truth. Joseph Smith, the founder of Mormonism, was a Methodist, and a number of family members were Presbyterians. Joseph Rutherford, the founder of Jehovah's Witnesses was a Baptist.

But we can even fault corrupt German Catholics and twisted heirarchies in Germany and England for Protestantism. This is the truth and is helpful to know. Those who do not know history as well as it's causes are doomed to repeat it. Is it unhelpful to know this? I'll let the readers decide.

Dave gives a point I concede to. I should have been more clear about which Protestant support abortion. Most Evangelicals do not support sodomy abortion in any form, including pills. Mainline Protestants of traditional Protestant communities do support these things. The American Prepbyterian communion supports abortion on demand. Although 60 years ago this traditional faith community did not.

There are no longer Protestant denominations that oppose contraception. Although I have heard the Amish and old order Mennonites oppose it but I cannot confirm.

The comparison of worship of the pagans to the Unknown God and anyone including Protestants worshipping God is a fully valid analogy. When the movement first began, Protestants worshipped the God of the Bible. Many liberal Protestants from the first denominations no longer do this. They no longer meet in community on the Lord's Day. They have no clue how God works through the Blessed Virgin Mary. They have less of an understanding of baptism and marriage. The fact that the United Church of Canada exists is testomony to the decay of faith. We can even make this comparison to Catholics. They no longer see the severity of contraception, and the necessity of going to Confession or Holy Matrimony or Holy Orders. And as long as people, especially Catholic and Orthodox Christians, do not acknowledge we worship a God of whom men know less and less we run the risk of Him becomming unknown to many souls.

If you read my works I do not at all compare the worship of Protestants to the Trinity to that of pagans and their false gods. But St. Paul compares the worship of the pagans to this Unknown God to the worship of Almighty God of Christians and Jews. In fact it's not even a comparison, it's an equality. This is really key to understanding the passage, and the evangelization of the pagan Greeks and Romans.

On another note, we can see the rise of witchcraft and paganism occuring in traditionally English speaking Protestant countries such as America, Great Britian and even Canada. J.K. Rowling, author of Harry Potter is even a self-described Protestant, albeit many Protestants would be ashamed to be associated with her.

So I hope this helps dave see some of the truth that is easily evident when history is considered, particularly the history associated with Protestantism kept by Catholics and the Church.

Definitely interesting discussion. I do love my protestant brothers and sisters and I look forward to promoting the Common Good, as defined by the authority of the Catholic Church (this includes the Holy Bible) with them.

Pax vobiscum,

Home Grown Terror Cells

Washington DC - A massive series of raids conducted in the country overnight ended in the successful discovery of recently active heretical terrorists cells. Even though many sheep were lead astray, let us offer our forgiveness to the terrorists. And let us not forget the prayers of Our Blessed Mother, whom we thank as she birthed our Saviour and our peace."

President Bush commented, "Today America and the people of the world can rest easier knowing the ultimate evil of heretical terrorism has been defeated."

Below is Frances bin Kissling in an undated photograph most likely taken by one of her extremist heretical hoolagins:

I thank Jeff Miller and his WMD article at Curt Jester for the inspiration: http://www.splendoroftruth.com/curtjester/archives/006895.php

Pax vobiscum

The Passing of Protestantism

I just thought I'd write a few notes on my observations about Protestantism. I want any readers who belong to Protestant faith communities to know I am sensitive to this issue, being raised in a liberal Protestant home, and I do love all protestants, but not the heresy known as Protestantism as a perversion of truth for the pain and ruptures it has caused our Mother the Church.

Last night I was reading Acts 18:23 where St. Luke records St. Paul saying "For passing by and seeing your idols, I found an altar also, on which was written: To the Unknown God. What therefore you worship without knowing it, that I preach to you."

A couple points in support of the passing of Protestantism:
1. The movement is destroying itself inside out. Ever since Protestants thought they had the right to establish rival churches to Christ's Church, they have been fragmenting and splintering into more doctrinally diverse and smaller sects (denominations). We know from Sacred Tradition, the history of the Church, and Sacred Scripture that God never incorporated this into His Church, nor was it His Will. Nonetheless this fruit is an unseparable part of the movement.

The point: As Protestants splinter further they destroy the unity of their community, their credibility of doctrine and therefore must rely on non-denominationalism and the most basic Christian doctrine to bail them out.

2. The harbouring of a strange diversity of beliefs makes the movement condusive to the spread of secularism, and doubt in Christian history, revelations and miracles. This trend gives rise to strange meanings of baptism which means loss of the sacrament. The trend gives to the formation of strange cults such as Mormonism and Jehovah's witnesses, which are byproducts of American Protestantism. Unfortunately they have cut themselves off of the sanctifying grace found in many of the sacraments (5 out of 7) such as Confession, Holy Communion, Holy Orders, Extreme Unction and Confirmation by denying the sucessors of the apostles.

The point: Protestantism inherits an openness to strange doctrine that opens the gates to forces that wish to destroy it and any semblance of Christianity within.

3. They embrace a number of harmful moral beliefs, especially liberal Protestants. These beliefs are killing and destroying their future families and generations. They support population control, contraception, divorce, sexual pleasure over sexaul procreation, some support sodomy, and abortion.

The point: The largest Protestant denominations, which have become ultra-liberal, are destroying their future generations.

The good news: As Protestants lose their moral direction and their dogmatic direction, more and more they come back home to the Catholic Church to guide them to salvation, because they see God's unchanging beacon of faith, hope, truth, charity (love) and justice. The more their faith communities change, the more they long for the Body of Christ that does not change.

St. Paul is an excellent guide because as the pagan Gentiles worshipped the Unknown God, we see Protestants worship a God that through the generations they also know less and less of God. St. Paul lead them back home to the Catholic Church so we can together be an even stronger force of God's glory on earth! St. Paul please pray for them and for our Mother the Church!

To all protestants and Protestants:

Pax vobiscum

Allan O'Canada

Dealing with Pro-abortion Emotionalism

My Dear Friends,

My observations of the pro-abortion movement is that it almost entirely fuels itself on emotionalism to retain power. Look at their arguments, they lack any true argumentative reasoning and substance. In a nutshell they're weak I mean, trying to justify the legality of abortion based on a woman making a choice? Women terrorists make personal life altering choices when they blow themselves up and others in their suicide missions. Should we make that legal too? Obviously our laws must not be determined on the basis of the freedom to choose anything without negative consequences. Our laws must be based on morality: Will this action hurt another person? Does this action show love to every person involved? Is this behaviour suitable for people? Is this behaviour compatible with how people were made to live?

Obviously it is always murder to kill an innocent person. The preborn are the most innocent among us. Preborn people are human persons as science tells us, from the moment of conception there is a new life performing all the necessary prossesses of life independently of her mother (except for gathering food). Abortion kills an innocent person, the baby, and sometimes the mother too. Yes, even "safe" legal abortion can kill the mother. Thus, abortion is rightly called murder.

Against this reasoning, and the destruction of its own, the pro-abortion movement has to result to emotionalism to sustain it's power strangle on the Canadian-American mind. We hear such screams as "you don't have any idea what it's like!" or "you think you're making some sort of political statement!" This is always followed by many nasty instults and swear words. It's true, pro-abortionists are about as friendly and reasonable as their language. Let me know how friendly and reasonable the phrase "f*** you" is. "You don't have any idea what's it like to have an abortion" can easily be followed by the statement "You don't have any idea what's it like to be torn apart limb from limb." Hopefully that makes the emotionalist think about it and question their beliefs.

Planned Parenthood is as guilty of the insults as anyone. I'm really impressed with how the Catholic Church handles this and does not stoop to their level. When was the last time the Catholic Church made a cartoon childishly insulting anyone? Vive Christ's Church! I'm so thankful and happy to be Catholic.

My advice is to imitate the Catholics. Be calm. Be respectful. Be admonishful when the opportunity presents itself, it's everyone's duty, not just Catholics. Catholics have the extra difficult duty of letting pro-abortion people know their soul is in mortal danger the loss of heaven and of hellfire if they do not seek God's peace and change their hearts.

Pax vobiscum,

Allan

P.S. To my special one, you're always my inspiration!=)

The LAMB is Our Hope for HIV/AIDS

I recently thought of a beautiful new Acronym for the Movement to Prevent HIV/AIDS. In Uganda in 1991 the HIV prevalance rate for the general population was 15%. The ABC method was aggressively employed and was so effective that by 2004 Uganda's HIV rate was chopped to 4% as reported by LifesiteNews: http://www.lifesite.net/ldn/2005/feb/05020408.html

ABC stands for Abstain, Be Faithful and Character Development. Some think condoms are more important than character development and will use that as the C word. All I'm going to say about recommending condoms to reduce the spread of HIV is that they're not effective enough and may even contribute to the problem. We shouldn't be exciting naive minds by telling them it's ok to engage in risky, uncommitted and/or unclean sexual activity as long they use a condom when we know 15-20% of the time they'll end up on their death bed with AIDS. Somewhere down the way we've crossed the morality line.

I thought it would be a good idea if there were an acronym out there to avoid using C just because it can cause confusion and the wrong idea when people use it for condoms. I propose we use an improved acronym to summarize the necessities in preventing HIV through sexual transmission:

LAMB

L is for Love.
The real definition of love is and wanting and doing what's best for each other, in the spirit of sacrifice.

A is for Abstinence.
Self control never hurt anyone and is the only 100% effective prevention.

M is for Marriage.
We need to recognize marriage as the best institution for sexual activity, where procreation, commitment and unity are embraced.

B is for Be Faithful.
We cannot contract or spread the disease to our spouse if we are faithful.

This acronym can work for anyone. The lamb's coat is pure and white, no blemmish, no disease. We want everyone to be free of disease. The lamb is innocent. Everyone sees some sort of need to be pure and innocent in their sexual activity, reserving it for the person with whom it's most safe with, and most appreciative of it's remarkable procreative nature, one's spouse.

It is also fitting in that Christ, the Lamb of God heals many of disease and other affliction. A little known fact is that the Catholic Church is the single largest organization providing relief to AIDS patients.

Pax vobiscum,

Allan

God Bless the Convert: Watch out Islam

Abdul Rahman: Is this the face of the enemy?

It really made my blood boil when I heard about cut-throat 'moderate' Muslim clerics wanting to have Abdul Rahman murdered for converting from Islam to Christianity, thus rejecting Islam. Their reasoning is as twisted as secular progressive reasoning, and almost as deadly.

From Lifesite.net:

"Trial judge Ansarullah Mawlazezadah told Stephen Harper, “The religion of Islam is one of tolerance,” therefore, if he recants his Christian faith, he will not be executed. "

How is Islam teaching tolerance by murdering someone who converts to a different faith? Doesn't God give us a free-will choice whether we will follow Him to attain His promise of everlasting life? Surely this Islamic teaching is contrary to the Will of God. I'm sure there are Muslims who can attest to this.

This is not a problem of the relationship between religion and state, it is a problem of bad religion to begin with.

If Abdul were actively trying to supplant Islam by means of deception, this can lawfully be considered an act of treason on the state (because the religion and state are joined). Many people are ignorant of the fact that this is why the Spanish Inquisition was started, because Jews and Muslims were infiltrating the Church, becoming priests and where attacking the faith of the Church through heresies. When there is a union of Church and State, an attack on the Church is an attack on the State and vice versa, and so it can be considered treasonable. But this is not the case today, where the State represses the Church. You're average secular "progressive" is not enlightened enough to see the difference in the above scenario and what is going on in Afghanistan because they like to over-simplify concepts, and neatly package them into small disposible bundles.

Again from Lifesite.net:

Rejecting Islam is insulting God. We will not allow God to be humiliated. This man must die," said cleric Abdul Raoulf, who is considered a moderate.
The Afghan constitution says "no law can be contrary to the sacred religion of Islam". At the same time, it says the country must abide by international agreements which include those upholding human rights and freedom of religion.

This sounds a lot like the angry Jewish San Hedrin who wanted Jesus Christ crucified for acknowledging that He is the Son of God. I just showed that a religion that does not respect the free-will choice God gives us to choose our religions is violated by Islam. So how can rejecting Islam, a faith that does not recognize God's gift to us of free-will choice to do good, be insulting to God? It can't!

Abdul is not hurting anyone. The radical Muslims may percieve scandal from him, but scandal is not an offense punishable by death, nor life imprisonment. If Islam was truly a religion of tolerance, it wouldn't have forced generations of Muslims since the time of Mohammed to stay Muslim under pain of death.

Just as Muslims have problems accepting the God given freedom of religion, secular progressives have trouble accepting the right to life of the preborn. Christians: Catholic, Orthodox and catechumens enjoy the balance of the best of both worlds. This is evidence that supports Jesus Christ's claim that He is the truth, the way and the life, as well as the Church's proclamation of being the true Universal Christian Mother Church.

On a political note it is interesting to see it is only the Conservative governments that have come out swinging in favour of freedom of religion. Prime Minister Stephen Harper spoke up, along with President Bush, Condoleeza Rice, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, British Prime Minister Tony Blair, and the Italian government. Canada's Liberals and American's Democrats again have put their feet in their mouths and are not speaking up for religious freedom. This proves their anti-religious bigotry, and their betrayal of their 'rights' and 'freedoms' principals. Also note how France, the Netherlands, Belgium and surprise surprise the Danish have not said anything against what is happening. And only months ago the Danish were rabidly defending freedom of speech. It is beyond belief how quickly they change their tune and turn their backs on freedom of religion, the foundational stone of democracy.

I know only a few Muslims, and they are good people. They're better than many Canadians I know. I earnestly hope that they will see the faults present in their religion, and see how these particular faults are made perfect in the Holy Catholic Church.

May St. Michael and his own guardian angel defend Abdul Rahman from the persecution of murderous extremist Muslims. And may God have mercy on the persecutors. They need our prayers, because the punishments of the Father will soon weigh down upon them.

Pax vobiscum,

Allan O'Canada

Lifesite article available at: http://www.lifesite.net/ldn/2006/mar/06032406.html

And congratulations America! This is true whether you are born or pre-born, disabled, ill, healthy, rich or poor. But precious to whom we may ask? Well first and foremost, precious to God, and then precious to us men. Think about it, the Greatest Commandment is to "Love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart thy whole soul thy whole mind." Matt. 22:37. If God commands us to love Him like this, imagine what His love for us must be. Infinite. Let's count how much He loves us: one, two, three... well you get the point.

And secondly, the Second Greatest Commandment "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." Love is a very deep meaning. One in which I don't have time to get into now. It doesn't mean feel good with someone else pleasurewise, but it does mean wanting what's best for someone else, immediately AND in the long term. And where we can help heal people, rather than leaving them sick, that is what's best for them. So simple and beautiful.

So what does this have to do with leprosy? Well we must love the lepers. And help them as much as we can as we would try and help the poorest people, the pre-born as much as we can.
A couple weeks ago we had World Leprosy Day. Our Blessed Lord was all about healing lepers, and so were many saints (by the power of God of course).

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) and I'll trust them on this one, there are approx. 300,000 people in the world living with leprosy. Before the discovery of the cure in 1985, there were 5.5 million living with the disease. Leprosy is caused by a bactertia which destroys the tissue that connects nerves to muscles. The cure is 6 months to a years worth of antibiotics, payed for by the WHO.

They're working to eradicate the disease like they did with small pox back in the 70s and was officially declare eradicated in 1981 or close to there. Destroying leprosy is a cause quite worthy of our prayers and support. There are many Christian Leprosy Missions that are worth your prayers and support, as well as your money. So find a good life promoting organization and DONATE!

Pax Dominus vobiscum,

and something beautiful from Char "How come no matter what happens to me during the day, i know i won't stay sad or upset for long when i have you!" - I definitely have the sweetest girl ever. Deo gratias, thanks be to God!

Does Paul Martin Look Like Porky the Pig?

Does former Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin look like Porky the Pig?

We all know he's a little large around the waist line, and probably doesn't exercise too much but is there a facial resemblance? What will Canadians ask for? Will they ask for healthy, true marriage, an end to corruption, the decency of not allowing 14+ orgy clubs and lower taxes OR will they ask for sodo-marriage under the guise of equality, some of the highest taxes in the world, scandal after scandal.

Please see my previous post for how parties did on major issues.

An anonymous commenter to my last post "Canadian Election 2006" did not even attempt to address the issues I spoke of in the spirit of true argument. He or she rather copied Michael Moore's statement on the Canadian election, which has almost nothing to do with my post, other than they're both about the Canadian election, but I warmly welcome it.

Why is Moore in such a tizzy over our election. Things must have struck a chord. We must be getting very close to a Conservative government that will actually steer our country back on course with God's Will, His divine plan for the peace and love of Our Great Canadian Nation.

The thing about Michael Moore is, how can anyone take him seriously? Look at his arguments. Notice their complete detatchment from reality. Let's take a brief look at the flaws present in Moore's article.

Now I could go through and show the flaws to all his false statements, which I like to call lies, but I'm not going to waste my time. The Conservatives have a hard earned victory thanks to rotten Liberal attack ads, bad liberal arguments, liberal lies, Liberal theft, and liberals supporting the culture of death and other immoral causes.

The Denouement: I've seen enough of his movies and interviews to conclude that Michael Moore is a fanatical fibber, making mountains out of mole holes more often than not. Well Michael, your statement has as many lies as the Liberal campaign and was definitely more than I asked for.

Pax vobiscum,

Allan O'Canada

Canadian Election 2006

This federal election has been so heated that our Canadian winter warmed into spring during the middle of January! 10 degrees out yesterday, in the Year of Our Lord 2006, January 20.

I think I'll just give the highlights of my experience during this election campaign. I wasn't too active in it cause for the first third I had exams, for the second third I went to Pennsylvania to see my sweet honey Charlene, and for the final third I was just settling into my new place and job in Toronto. I'd like to thank Lifesite www.lifesite.net and Campaign Life Coalition www.campaignlifecoalition.com/elections/federal2006/ for all their efforts in bringing truthful news with 1000 times less bias than the mainstream news sources with their extremist liberal agendas.

Highlights of the Canadian Federal Election 2006

Conservative popularity shot up to 42%. Liberals were lingering at 24%. NDP 16%. Polls don't matter too much, what matters is the actual election. So we'll see how people vote on Monday.

CTV media outlet buried their polls that showed Conservative leads like this in an effort of censorship of the truth. I could name many other examples of media censorship of Canada and an effort to supplant freedom of speech of conservative citizens.

Conservative:

Life issues are most important in Canada right now. There are many fine Conservative candidates who do not bow to liberal pressure but will affirm the value of human life for the entirety of that life, from conception till death. There were 2 major let downs. It was a real let down when Conservative leader Stephen Harper bowed down to the liberal press and he said, "The Conservative government won't be initiating or supporting any abortion legislation, and I'll use whatever influence I have in parliament to be sure that such a matter doesn't come to a vote." Hopefully he has little influence on the matter when the time comes. I was also surprised when a number of Conservative candidates refused to fill out Campaign Life Coalition's questionnaire. Someone from the head office told them not to fill it out. Jerra Byrne told Conservative candidates not to fill out the questionnaire. Another strike against freedom and of speech and a hit for censorship of good material.

My local Conservative candidate also refused to fill out the survey. It seems impossible to get ahold of her to ask her questions. All I could find was an contact form on her website and nothing else. Very poor communications I'd say. How can voters find out if they want to vote if you're not available for the vote. I praised her decision to support marriage, but I cautioned her saying I need to know her stance on life issues before I can vote for her and it was a mistake for her not to fill out the survey. I never recieved a reply from her. She indicated that she would refer to constituents on how to vote for life issues.

Paul Martin remains at variance with the 5th Commandment of God "Thou shalt not kill" by supporting abortion. He uses the misleading term "woman's right to choose." But this phrase could easily be confused with other things like a woman's right to choose which pair of socks she'll wear the next day. Another more serious choice may be where she wants her children to go for daycare and still be able to collect the government allowance for daycare no matter her choice; whether it complies to the government's choice or not.

Harper has shown to be in support of life when it comes to matters of euthanasia and assisted suicide.

Conservative leader Stephen Harper says he will allow free votes in the House on issues of moral conscience. Liberal leader Paul Martin made the same promise in the last election but broke his promise when he forced his cabinet to vote for sodomarriage.

Let's take a look at protection of marriage. Most Conservative candidates will vote against sodomarriage, thus preserving true marriage.

Stephen Harper will revisit the Supreme Court decision that recently legalized orgy clubs. Funny, I thought courts weren't allowed to legislate and legalize things. Isn't that the government's job? Under nearly 40 years of Liberal rule, sounds like Canada's people no longer run the country, but a judicial oligarchy.

On top of this the Conservatives will create an elected senate for greater democracy, they will lower the GST to 5% over 5 years and give a child care allowance to help young families. And they will ensure that financial scandals like the Liberal's sponsorship scandal or the Liberal/U.N. Oil for Food scandals do not happen if they're elected.

Sounds good to me!

Liberal:
Life issues: A number of back-bencher Liberals who do not have allegiance to the scandalous Paul Martin or the scandalous Jean Chretien, but to God are some of the best life and marriage supporters out there.

However that aside, Paul Martin, as stated above is pro-abortion, along with the majority of the Liberal Party, including the health minister, who also is open to euthanasia and assisted suicide and abortifacient pills which kill preborn babies and cause breast cancer. Some health minister Ujjal Dsanid who thinks some people are better of dead if their mothers want them dead or if people are in pain and didn't even think to ask for a catheter or other pain relief drugs.

Some Liberals also back queer boy rape, lowering the age of anal "sex" to 14 years old so queer old men can... disgusting. They also haven't said anything against the swinger's club ruling. Which allows adults to have swinger parties with 14 year old children. Martin supports this decision. This alone is not evidence to suggest that he is a pedophile. But we should be prudent because he does support all kinds of sexual deviance such as sodomy and sodomarriage, and sexploitation of 14 year old children.

Paul Martin also supported an attack add that said Stephen Harper would have soldiers with guns on the streets of Canadian cities. He also lost it. He is also a heretic because he does not believe in or support with his actions or words the 5th or 6th commandments of God.

Well that's it. What an election campaign, a lot more attack ads from the Liberals and being nasty. Many good things from the Conservatives but they need to stand up for the right to life.

Is Catholicism screwed up or a Beautiful Religion

Is Catholicism screwed up or a beautiful religion? My last commenter seemed to think both. Check out the comment left by anonymous:

I was born and raised Catholic and as I grew up I realized how screwed up it is. And with all these priests being found out about their molesting of boys, I realize I was right. It's people like you and a religion like this that will always keep this world from peace. Catholics have turned a beautiful religion about following the teachings of God, to a way to spread hate and bigotry. All the Church does is teach hate and intolerance. And yet, you wonder why people turn away from God. Look at yourself in the mirror and you'll find the answer.

I'd like to thank anonymous above for his comments. This is the first dissenting and ill-reasoned comment I've got so far. In defence and to show the flaws of his arguments and I pray his soul and mind may be strengthened by this. Now I'm a faithful Catholic so I adhere to the 1st and 2nd greatest commandments of God: "Love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, soul, mind and strength," and "Love thy neighbour as thy self." So I love anonmyous as myself. So I'm not actually spreading hate or bigotry by telling people about their unhealthy activities or scandal. I am loving them by warning them because I care for them. As Our Lord warns us "Beware of Scandal, woe to those who cause scandal" So a warning is helpful in this case.

To show how ill-reasoned this comment is just look: First he says “I was born and raised Catholic and as I grew up I realized how screwed up it is” but then he says it’s a “a beautiful religion about following the teachings of God.” Now my friend, make up your mind! Beautiful and teachings of God, or screwed up? Secondly, the priests molesting boys are homosexuals and have been influenced by the perversion of the culture around them. Priests don’t live cloistered lives. The Church does not stand for such conduct, first and foremost out of love, but also out of justice.

Next, I’m accused of disturbing the peace and creating what? Violence? War? Well Jesus Christ said “My peace I leave, my peace I give, share it with the world,” “The peace I give is not the peace that the world gives,” “I come not to bring peace but a sword” meaning that even though He meant to bring peace in His message, there would be people who didn’t like His message (the same message of His Church) and create wars and violence. They do these things because they don’t like what He or His apostles said and did (even though all of which was said and done was healthy and for the greater good). So it’s actually not people like me or the Church or this religion that keep the world from peace, but our enemies. These same types of people crucified Our Lord and martyred most of His close friends.

As for bigotry, I’d say the people who aren’t open to God and infinite have closed minds and these are the real bigots. The Church has been sufficiently open to debate and thought about her dogma, and has given 2000 years worth of creative open-spirited arguments in support of them. So only a bigot could call that bigotry.

“All the Church does is teach hate and intolerance.” Again, to be honest this isn’t really the case. To be blunt it’s ignorance and here’s why: Remember the 2 greatest commandments Our Lord Jesus Christ teaches and still teaches through the Church? And no where is the message of hate and intolerance taught. So there goes that argument out the window. Better luck next time. But actually, we are taught to always be tolerant of other people, and their sinful habits as individuals, but also give punishment when it is our place to do so. Jesus, as God, would have been in infinite pain everyday of His life on earth due to all the sin around Him. But He teaches us by example to tolerate it. Something He wouldn’t tolerate, like buying and selling in temple. So it was His place to react, and He was just and fair in doing so by violently overthrowing their tables but injuring no one. The punishment matches the crime.

So to sum it up I was presented with very poor arguments, but it seems like anonymous is still learning and has not completely rejected God and His Faith. He has my unconditional love and prayers that he may return to the Flock. I admit I am a sinner. But I would have sinned by omission if I did not warn my fellow men (such as the President of Duquesne Catholic University) of their wrongs. Remember the Church teaches we’re all sinners. So many people easily forget that we’re not perfect, but we should strive to be.

Pax vobiscum,

P.S. I wrote
The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches that homosexual activites are "intrinsically disordered." So Ryan Miner is completely right in criticizing homosexual activity. I decided to write to the school president so I thought I'd post my letter.

Great Offense

Dear Charles J. Dougherty, Ph.D. Duquesne University President,

I can't believe hearing about a Catholic University punishing a Catholic for speaking the Truth, Catholicism. What the school is doing is mortal sin for all the members involved in punishing Ryan Miner for saying that queer sodomy is sub-human. The people punishing him should be ashamed at their anti-Catholic bigotry at a Catholic school! They should be punished for insulting Our Lord, His Church and His servant!

And starting a Gay-Straight Alliance club on campus. That is just DISGUSTING and SINFUL. A club promoting sodomy, men lusting in men. THAT IS DISGUSTING, DISORDERED AND UNATURAL! THESE PEOPLE NEED THERAPY!!! Don't let satan pull the wool over your eyes. I expect a rejection of this club, discipling of the university judicial affairs department (they need to be judged) that offeneded Ryan Miner, and monetary and academic compensation for Ryan Miner. What a disgrace upon Duquesne University.

Sincerely, Allan

I decided to write an extreme article because drastic times call for drastic measures.
I obtained my source at:
http://www.lifesite.net/ldn/2005/oct/05102804.html

Pax vobiscum (Peace be with you) -I'm getting close to the gnir;-)

An ounce of criticism is worth more than a pound of praise

An ounce of criticism is worth more than a pound of praise--at least that's what my latest readers think! Lol. It's all good.

Well answering the healthy criticism of the comments in my last post, it looks like I did use the nominative "veritas" when I should have used the ablative "veritate" for "cum." As far as "concordia" is concerned it appears as though the meaning harmony is correct... an aetheist told me in first year it meant beauty. Never trust an aetheist in matters of faith, morals or Latin!

My proposed solution to the above problem: let's make Latin a living language again, and see how concordia as a word evolves and expands its definition to mean "beauty." Let us be inclusive in the language of Latin because the Latin is inclusive. Let us venture into dialogue with people who do not know the Latin. For the Latin understands and forgives. "The Latin is my shepherd. The Latin is my life and my salvation." This is something any great saint could have said in centuries past like St. Jerome (translator of the Latin Vulgate) or St. Thomas Aquinas, and perhaps this is something even from the lips of schismatics like His Excellency Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre. Clearly Martin Luther and Henry VIII did not know the Latin as they should have--or Roman Catholics around Vatican II. This used to be a comment but it's so long I turned it into a post.

And onto other things. I'm attending a wedding this weekend in Goderich. My friends Kris Hiuser and Erin Hoffemeyer are getting married! Congratulations to them! I pray some day it may become a sacrament for them:-) Weddings are such wonderful things. I can't wait to have my own! I know it'll come when it's time, but I still can't wait! Char's going to a wedding this weekend too in Norfolk, VA. Only a week till I get to see her! and her family! 10 days with the family, it'll be grand. Whoever reads this please pray for my safe trip there and back again.

Pax vobiscum nunc, et semper, et in seculae seculorum

Letter to Independentcourt.org

I wrote an email to independentcourt.org today. Upon first glance they appear to be a newly founded liberal agency hypocritically wanting to know John Roberts personal views on issues he may have to judge on the Supreme Court. But there is no mention that requests for views and beliefs of justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg were denied by the Democrats with the Ginsburg Standard in 1993 until the Clinton Administration! The truth should have been known then, but not they must fair and give equal treatment to Roberts.

Here's the letter I wrote:

Dear IndependentCourt.org,

I don't see anything on your site criticizing the decision of Democrats specifically Senator Joseph Biden and the white house during the Clinton administration for establishing rules for questioning nominees. In 1993 when justice Ruth Baden Ginsburg was going through confirmation she had no obligation to answer questions about her personal views on issues that might come before the Court. This reveals your bias as a destructive liberal organization. Apply the Ginsburg standard. The Democrats had a round of it, now be fair and just and let the Republicans have a round at it.

Also I encourage you to watch consersavtive and liberal news agencies and compare them, FOXNews vs. CNN and see that the White House has released something in the range of 40,000 documents on Roberts. They cannot release anymore due to the right of lawyer client confidentiality. Would you have them take away that right? Logically, no.

Sincerely,

Ok well I thought it was short and sound and gets to the point of fairness. Ideally the full truth should have been known in the beginning. Since it wasn't, this fair grace must be given.

Well now it's time for me to talk to Char. She's on vacation at the beach for a week. I could have been there if it wasn't for my boss. GRRR. She's gone on vacation for a week, so I have to go a week without even seeing her on webcam. I miss her. But here goes... I got the inspiration for these greeting cards from the Curt Jester. www.splendoroftruth.com/curtjester when they featured adulterous lover greeting cards.... need I say more? ;-) And what better answer to cards that commemorate breaking the 6th Commandment than cards by those who break the 5th!

If planned parenthood ever decided to go into the "Maternal/New Baby greeting card" business, their cards may look a bit like this:

Many Warnings, Many Signs or Beware of Pagans Part III

Ok this is my last installment of why we should be aware of pagans and paganism and I'll make it quick and simple! So let's hear the dirt on paganism... which is more dirty than anything Christianity herself has done, or Christians left to themselves in sin, and even Islam.

The pagan Roman Empire. How many millions of people did they kill? Blood thirsty pagans. They were the people who actually killed God, the Blessed Lord Jesus Christ. And they crucified millions, and tortured and killed over 2 million Catholic Christians.

Who wants pagans after that quagmire? To make matters worse the pagans of south America sacrificed their infants to false gods! Praise Jesus, the Jesuits and Mother Church were able to convert them and teach them the 5th commandment Thou Shalt not Kill.

The pagans of Papau New Giunea even to this day practice cannibalism! Paganism is a dangerous religion because it is purely a religion of men! Perhaps not as dangerous as aetheism, but still very very dangerous.

And the pagan Greeks and Romans would engage in homosexual orgies. The Roman men would abandon the women and burn their lusts in each other. Famously documented by St. Paul the apostle to the Gentiles in his first Letter to the Romans.

There is always forgiveness and Christ granted mercy to the pagan people who did not know better. He gave them more mercy than the Jews as the pagans abandoned their faith and became the elect as the first Catholic Christians at the power of St. Paul's preaching.

Ok so where's the beauty in all this? Well the beauty is that by the grace of God the Church converted these peoples and won their hearts to Christ!

Always remember where the greatest authority on earth is. He's in Rome vested by the power of Jesus Christ. The Pope most closely follows the footsteps of the fisherman Peter. He is the shepherd of the whole Church on earth, as there is one Shepherd of the whole Church in heaven there is one of earth. He always has divine authority even if doesn't say it for hundreds of years.

Ok so I'm done talking about where we men and women should go to for authority. It is never to ourselves. But something greater than ourselves:-)

Many Warnings, Many Signs or Beware of Pagans Part II

As I wait for my Char to come back I'll write the thoughts that have been on my mind about where the world is and where it is heading and how our society rejects the beautiful fulness of Christ, and His life everlasting found in the Holy, Apostolic Catholic Church.

So where was I? Ah yes, the evil dark Lord of pagans... We know by God's revelation to Abraham that He exists and that God is One. We know He is One and He is (I AM) by His revelation to Moses on Mt. Sinai approx. 4000 years ago. We know God is Triune, or three in one as described in the doctrine of the Holy Trinity by the Church (Council of Nicea 325 A.D.). The Trinity is the ONLY explaination for how Jesus Christ described His relation with the Father, and the Paraclete or Spirit or Spirit of Truth. He said they are all One with the Father. So what? That means they're all one with God! How can three be one? Well it's a mystery to us humans, but if you were God (or even Man-God as Our Blessed Lord Christ is) you'd understand;-) So it took God to tell us because we couldn't figure that out. Doh!

This is the Christian belief in the Trinity. Some Moslems/Muslims and Jews, would have you think otherwise. Christians do NOT worship three Gods in One. The wording is three PERSONS in ONE GOD.

Pagans on the other hand, do worship anything but the One true God who has revealed Himself more times than a Christian has been killed at the hands of a pagan. So what... that's got to be up in the range of 10 million times or more?

Pagan gods are false because they are invented by people. People like the idea of inventing their own gods because it is the liberal thing to do. Liberalism and paganism get along real good. "A little chum for chum eh?" Pagan religions are very liberal because you can believe whatever the heck you want as long as you don't believe in God. Hmmmmm believing what suits your purposes and selfish needs... whatever you want eh?

Hmmmmm this is starting to sound like a certain Reformation. It's true that Protestants went crazy liberal when they fell away from the full Christian faith 500 years ago. And today some continue to liberalize and draw farther from Christianity. 500 years ago, the supporters of Martin Luther (not Luther himself), Calvin (Calvin himself), Henry VIII (himself) all say, "Hey I don't like what the Christ is telling me through the Church run by his appointed representatives on earth. Let me choose what is really from God based on what I think--not as God is telling the world through His Church, the Institution He set up on earth." Mind you, there is already a lot of anti-Catholic sentiment due to ignorance on the part of people and governments about the nature of indulgences, and some instances of abuse of indulgences. Thus we saw the early Protestants take matters into their own hands, and set up their own rival Churches to the one Christ established instead of trying to understand the problem from the bottom-up approach. How else would you end up with 2000+ denominations if there wasn't any picking and choosing according to selfish desire?

So you liberalize the firm God fearing discipline the Lord Almighty puts into a society, and inevitably things slip into paganism of some form. And that's where we're heading today. Catholics become Protestants, Protestants become pagans. Check out http://www.pagan.com/FallGathering/ posted on July 16, 2005 A.D. and read about M. R. Sellars or Mike Short. Mike Short, pagan convert from Lutheran.

Many people essentially want to be their own god or goddess first, and choose something to believe in putting themselves in the place of God who commands us to believe in Him for our own good and out of love.

What's with the new Harry Potter craze? liberal Protestants defend it. And it's their children who are converting to wicca, witchcraft. Catholics, and Conservative Protestants abhore it. We are truly God-fearing. Blessings and peace to my evangelical friends. We know the devil exists. And we will shun satan and his subtleties. Wearing down the consciences of our youth to think you can be good and be a witch. Satan poisons souls this way and drags them down to hell. Just like he poisons souls through sins against purity. And pagans love their perverted sex in orgies, promiscuity, homsexuality, pedophilia, oral and anal intercourse. God will plague them if it will save their souls!

Is this where our culture is going? Well part of it's already there...

May God bless Canada and all her people.

Many Warnings, Many Signs or Beware of Pagans Part I

Well first I better open this entry with some background so people can see my train of thought. There is much beauty, and peace in the Catholic Church. I can't see why people would be so offended with Her, other than for their own selfish wants. All the Church wants to do is help people. Yet, history shows us countless examples of where people have their own political agendas and make up truth. I used to be angry at Protestants for doing this. But then I realized most Protestants out there aren't really Protestants in the true sense of the word because they really don't know what Catholicism is. Once I learned about Catholicism, I couldn't see how anyone could not believe it. Why the Protestants of the past rejected so many truths revealed to us by God through the Church did not make sense to me. Each of the denominations choose which truths to believe, and which to reject and denominations would have so many different conflicting doctrines that it's hard to see how any form of Protestantism could be the full truth that God has revealed thus far. And Protestant demoninations are always changing, in a permanent state of getting closer to the one solid truth built on Rock (Petrus) or regressing. Look at the Anglicans with the whole gay pseudo-marriage ordeal, then again with the document on Mary about her dogmas (Immaculate Conception, Assumption).

At any rate, my anger for Protestantism and certain Protestants has quelled. At least for Conservative Christians. I'm still disappointed with liberals who make up theories about Jesus Christ with no evidence, no history. Lies are never a beautiful thing. In this world they are quickly becoming allies of Catholic Christianity, and we Catholics truly do welcome their good works, and their Truth with open arms for the common good which is Christ. I don't bring the Orthodox into this but I always have a special relationship with the Orthodox Christians I run into.

I can't say I have ever hated Judaism, but I definitely have a problem with the pseudo-Judaisms out there, like Jewish reform, and political or secular Jewishness. I have had a few influences that gave me an idea about Jews and Judaism. I don't know too many Jewish people, but if I knew more I would look fondly upon the ones I do know who aren't just pretending but know their faith reasonably well. Let it be known I love the Jews whether they have truth or not. True Judaism is a very beautiful religion. But shortly after the death of Christ, it seems they started practicing something a little different from Judaism. I'm no expert on the subject but I know the Pharisees of the time of Christ were able to twist the Law of Moses into their own political agenda. Usually when the true Jews of the world start practicing true Judaism we see beautiful things happen. Truth of the Spirit lightens their hearts and minds and they often become fulfilled Jews, that is they are Christened. This a whole big tangent, but I must say all followers of the Law of Moses must unite in this world under One True God. There is no room for secular jewish attacks on Christianity, this includes political attacks on clergy and religious in Israel by denying them visas. And there is no room for anti-Semitism especially when we are facing anti-Judeo Christianity.

I had the delightful experience of living in the same student house with a girl raised Jewish reform convert to Islam right before mine eyes. This is where I learned much about Islam, from her, and in turn taught her much about Christianity. I hope she still remembers! I was tempted by the allure of Islam I must confess, during my conversion to Catholicism. I wanted to make sure I had the true religion. Who can blame me for having an open mind? And a mind is really not open until it's opened to God. I had been angry at Muslims in general due to 9/11, and 3/11 and I'm still trying to figure out if such attacks are directly from an impurity in an Islamic religion. Most certainly a fundamentalist Islamic religion. I have many thoughts on Islamic religion such as is there a true religion of Islam or is it all culturally and personally based? And it seems impossible to know which strain would be the one Mohammed devised and if it still exists. At any rate, beware of fundamentalist Islam! It's one of the great dangers to the Church's existence, and thus freedom. So there is still a threat to freedom and peace from certain Muslims, just like with certain evangelicals. It is important to love Muslims as our neighbours because they share certain aspects of Abrahamic Law. So while there is a danger there is a must greater threat brewing in the west...

The Dark Lord...

of Atheism...
of Agnosticism and indifference...
of Communism...
of Secular humanism, and satanism

And of paganism.

Christians unite!!! Pagans will now more often speak of the atrocities of Christians committed against other people. However, what pagans fail to realize is that these unjust acts are not condoned by the Church. However, pagans are directly responsible for more bloodshed, slavery and all around cruelty in history than any other group of people. However, they may probably be surpassed by liberal secularists one day. Then again, I bet many liberal secularists are pagans. The thing about paganism is that anything goes any way you want. You make up your god, your rules, your morals, your religion, you get other people to follow it, heck you can even make yourself a god as some do. Why should I worship you? You think you're a god? I think you're ready for a trip to the local looney bin...

First Blog Entry Ever

So I finally decided to get my own blog because I think I have some good points that should be heard somehow. I am an avid listener/reader of these types of things and I like to comment on important issues but don't get as much of a chance as I'd like.

Now a little bit about what this blog will be about. God will be a big part of this blog because He should always be first and foremost in life. Next is all that God has given me in life and wants of me: Charlene my Only One, my family, my education, and all the little things that are too numerous to mention.

I'm writing this while Char is getting ready for her brother Leif's graduation party. I missed Char's party but I wish I could have been there with her. Well that's all folks for this post.

Pax vobiscum
Peace be with you
